In a one to one yoga lesson we develop a personal practice plan. This is based on questionnaires on your constitution, physical and mental health and reasons for practicing yoga.
The plan is composed of postures, breathing, relaxation, concentration,
meditation, study, positive actions, spiritual connection and goals.
Back care, pregnancy and post natal yoga are my specialities, but clients have also found private lessons helpful for many other issues.
Private lessons can also involve Reiki healing, a gentle and relaxing
hands on healing method to which I have trained to 2nd degree level.
Approximately three to four sessions are recommended to establish a home practice.
As well as individuals, companies employ me to come to their workplace. Clients have included Corus Rail, CPP, DEFRA, The English Language Centre and the Environment Agency.

Private lessons and yoga plans are £28 per hour at my home, 24 Grange St, off Fulford Road and £35 per hour within York's ring road if I travel to you.
Clothing must not restrict movement.
Do not eat for 1.5 hours before a session.
